I am quite happy with what has happened.5A has at last won 5B and 4C.The best thing is that Neptune has a good position for collecting the newspapers.Well,I do not want toshow off(but to tell you the truth,I brought 3 full bags of newspaper. One of the bags was to overloaded and the handle broke. That is why I had to call Jessica for help.)I am just happy that our, including yours, effort has paid off.I think thatif you hadn't set this competition,a lot of people may not have brought such an amount of newspaper, even me.It is all because of your motivation that we have brought the newspapers.Just hope for the best that our class gets firt in the rank for the primary 5 level.

I did not really celebrate my national day as I don't really have a reason to celebrate it. Actually, it is just the birthday of a country but how will the 'country' see or be happy if we are celebrating it's birthday? So I don't really have an interesting recount about it. National Day was just a normal day for me and my family although we had fun watching the fireworks taking place at cricket club(near esplanade). We even had our food there as my father's friend is a cricket club member and he had invited us to have dinner with him there. I even had fun going to the NE show.

I had a wonderful holiday. At first, when my mother nagged me to do my homework, I used to tell her that I still have a whole of 10 days, but my mother insisted. I managed to finish the whole lot of homework by Sunday and then realised why my mother nagged me to do my homework quickly - so that I had holiday full of fun and that I could be free of tension throughout it (holidays). Well, then on Saturday, I had to go for my hindi school annual day when they give medals to those who got first, second or third and to entertain the adults a bit, the children of the school will dance. I was lucky as I got a chance to dance with my friend and also got a medal for getting third in my class. Then, my friend proposed me to have a sleepover at her house and my mother agreed instantly. From there,(my school) I went to her house and went to watch a movie at Tampines Mall with her family as she stays near there. We went to watch Monster House. It was very fun and I am looking forward to my next sleepover with her as we slept at 5a.m in the night.

Title : The Mystery of the spiteful letters Author : Enid Blyton MS Kong, this is the book review that I am going to write. I hope you like it. This book is about a mystery. The Five Find - Outers and dog are on a mission to solve this mystery. Their names are - Pip, Bets, Daisy, Larry and Fatty. Gladys, Pip and Bets' maid gets one of those nasty letters but these children have another problem that the police man in - charge of Peters Wood, their 'homeland',is also working on this mystery. The Find -Outers feel bad that Mr Goon will solve the mystery before them. Besids trying to solve the mystery, they had fun together as Fatty disguises himself and the rest of the children try to spot him. I like Fatty the most as he has a gift for acting and he disguises himself so well that it would have been very fun trying to spot him if I were one of his friends. Moreover, he is the leader of the group and usually, only he can make heads and tails of mysterious things. I dislike Mr Goon the most as when the children solve mysteries, before he does, he feels envy of them. Instead of praising them, he abuses them in his own heart. I liked itmost when the Inspector praised the children and on the other hand, Mr Goon was frowning as he had given a clue to the children himself, not knowing that it was useful. It served him right. I disliked it when Mr Goon knew more about the mystery than the children and was day-dreaming that he would get promoted. I have learnt that we should keep on trying until we reach a conclusion. Book Rating: #####

The trip to the Japanese school was very nice. The Japanese school invited us with a warm welcome and played a nice, soothing music. The game, Tug Of War was very fun, pulling the ropes with equal strength applied at either side! Too bad you missed the fun. Moreover,I had made three friends ther. One whose name I do not know,Hitomi and the other who made us laugh until mad. Cheryl even shared her remaining sweets with almost every japanese pupil around her. They were all so polite too. I liked them and would love to go there again.

I enjoyed it a lot as there were many entertaining perfomances for all of us to marvel at.As I am an indian,I don't really watch the national parade each year and was hesitating to go there at first as I thought it would be boring but Sara told me it was a once in a lifetime experience. That is how I agreed to come to the national parade.I was going to regret it a lot if I had not gone there, all thanks to Sara.Well I would have not got the goodie bag (the fun things inside it) and would have missed all the performances. It was fun going there. It is a pity that Qistina and Ming Yang missed all the fun!
